QR code on TV

Size and test a QR code on a TV or projector so visitors can scan it reliably.

01 / Keep the code square and high contrast
Use dark modules on a light background. Keep the quiet zone around the symbol clear. DENSO WAVE specifies a four-module margin on every side for a standard QR Code.
02 / Test distance and reflections
Scan from the farthest point people will normally stand. Try more than one phone. If the code is hard to read, enlarge it, shorten the payload where practical, and check for reflections or an overbright display.
03 / Plan for the change
A USB slide can show a fixed QR image. A connected display running V U This can switch the code and caption remotely with a Pass. Keep a short URL visible for people who prefer to type it.

Captured from the real V U This QR editor preview. This example opens the public screen guide. Showing it on a paired display requires a Pass.
